23rd Reading 2021 - You’re it

I read this book as part of the curriculum for the course Crisis Management and Conflict Resolution at UCLA Extension and they release a new version of the book right at the middle of the pandemic, so it suited perfectly well. “You;re it” talks about meta-leadership, which is a concept in which you develop your leadership as you practice it, especially in times of crisis, when you need to be close to people ad lead across your organization and use the “walk in the woods” to neutralize the  “basement” feelings to think clearly before taking decisions in a timely manners as a crisis requires.

I had to read this book basically twice, once before the class started and again duuring the class for the discussions with the other students and group project. It was a really good course as I mentioned before It is very important for big leaders to be prepared to lead on crisis mode at any time, for this reason it is important to take these courses and read these books, because you never know when they crisis will hit, so you better be prepared.
