Stop doing what you should is a book about networking. It is very interesting because it shows a different point of view about networking. It is not about only offering help, or connecting people, it is not about doing what you "should' do as everyone else does. It is about breaking the rules actually. It is about being authentic, being yourself and making people like you for what you are and not what they are expecting you to be or because of stereotypes and gender roles. I recommend this reading for anyone searching jobs, changing career paths, networking or simply interested in self-improvement and communications. Whitney K Blaine is a USC graduate and UCLA Anderson MBA candidate. She has a stellar career path and her book is very inspiring!
