42nd Reading 2021 - Finding your North Star

I think I got this book from some podcast interview of something, probably from some Business School alumnus or something. It is an interesting book about self-awareness and knowing yourself and what makees you happy or sad. I had some courses and I’ve read books on this topic before so this book sounded like I had read it before. It was good though to read the examples of people findinf themselves and changing jobs or ending marriages etc. It is important to really know yourself before making big decisions in your life such as your job or your significant other. Sometims we think that some things are beetter for us when in reality they arre not as good as we thought. Iff you don’t know yourself, you will never be happy because you will always be trying stuff that you think are good for you when they’re not. The process is simple but requires times, so the sooner you start the better. Take some time to reflect on what are your true values, what makes you happy, what type of person you like to be around or what makes you feel good, etc. After writing down everything, you will have more clear what is the path to your North Star.
